Yves Niyigaba

Teaching Fellow

Yves Niyigaba takes seriously what Martin Luther King once taught him: that a real dream is not what visits you in your sleep, but what makes you quit sleeping and work. A second-year student at Institut Catholique de Kabgayi (ICK) pursuing a Bachelor of Education with honors in English and Kinyarwanda, Yves serves as a Teaching Fellow in B2C; he facilitates lessons using English as a vehicle for knowledge for primary students and provides the kind of steady, consistent presence that makes a difference not in a single session but over time. Originally from Musanze, Rwanda, he joined Bridge2Charity with the belief that Education is the engine of transformation, and that the younger generation has both the responsibility and the power to drive it. He balances his work alongside full university studies and daily teaching duties, a schedule that reflects not commitment as a concept, but determination as a practice. Yves is passionate about storytelling, youth leadership, and the radical transformation of communities through the active involvement of young people. He values integrity and determination, knowing that success does not knock unannounced; it is built through intrinsic motivation and a willingness to meet every setback as an opportunity.
